Description

The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precision boring and versatile turning. With an 8.1 mm minimum diameter, a 35 mm reach, and a left-hand cutting geometry, it excels at small-diameter bores and tight workspaces.

Built from high-grade carbide, this tool line offers coating options that optimize performance across materials. The BXC TiN-coated grade delivers smooth cutting at lower speeds and works well with stainless steels, while the BMK sub-micron grade with a triple PVD coating provides exceptional heat resistance for demanding turning and broad material compatibility.

  • Compact size for tight bores: An 8.1 mm minimum diameter, 35 mm reach, and left-hand geometry let you access small holes and deep cavities while maintaining accurate bore quality.
  • Dual coatings for versatile performance: BXC TiN coating reduces friction for smooth cuts at low speeds on stainless steels; BMK triple-coated, sub‑micron grade delivers high heat resistance and consistent cutting across a wide range of materials.
  • Rigid carbide construction for reliability: Solid carbide provides stiffness and wear resistance, delivering repeatable bore sizes, stable tool life, and dependable finishes over many cycles.

This tool is designed to boost efficiency in busy shops by enabling precise boring and reliable turning with one compact tool. Its combination of small size, durable carbide, and advanced coatings helps you cut faster, finish smoother, and reduce tool changes without compromising accuracy.
