Description

The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide boring bar built for precision in tight spaces. With a 1.2 mm minimum diameter and 9 mm reach, it enables accurate boring and general turning in slim cavities, while the zero-radius tip supports crisp edges and smooth finishes.

Built from MTR K20-grade carbide, this tiny tool is offered with two PVD-coated options to match your material and cutting conditions. BXC TiN coating provides reliable performance at low cutting speeds and works well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK delivers an ultra-smooth cut and exceptional heat resistance with a sub-micron grade and triple PVD coating (ISO K10-K20). General-purpose for all materials.

  • Ultra-compact boring bar for tight bores: Access narrow cavities with a 1.2 mm minimum diameter and 9 mm reach, while maintaining rigidity and finishing quality thanks to the zero-radius tip.
  • Coating options tuned for material and speed: Choose BXC TiN for low-speed stainless steel work or BMK triple-coated carbide for high-heat applications, extending tool life and improving cutting stability.
  • Durable K20-grade carbide with proven geometry: Robust MTR-grade material provides stiffness and consistent performance across materials, helping reduce chatter and deliver repeatable results.

This tiny tool is designed to streamline micro-boring and tight-tolerance work. Its compact size and reliable coatings support efficient setups, fewer tool changes, and dependable finishes across stainless steels and other alloys, helping you finish jobs on time with confidence.
