The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for micro-bore work and precise turning on small parts. Its 2.1 mm minimum diameter, 10 mm reach, and R0.05 nose radius let you access tight cavities and produce accurate holes with a smooth finish.
This tool line is available in two coated grades to optimize performance across common materials. The BXC TiN-coated grade delivers reliable cutting at low speeds and performs well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40). The BMK sub-micron grade features an advanced PVD triple coating for exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting, suitable as a general-purpose option across materials (ISO K10–K20). Together, they provide long tool life and consistent results in demanding applications.
- Tiny-diameter, long-reach geometry for micro-bore work: With a 2.1 mm minimum diameter, 10 mm reach, and an R0.05 nose radius, this boring bar fits into tight spaces and delivers precise, repeatable holes and finishes.
- Two grade options for versatile material performance: Choose BXC TiN for stainless steels at low speeds or BMK with a triple PVD coating for high heat resistance, enabling reliable cutting across a wide material range.
- Solid carbide durability for consistent results: Built from a rigid carbide core with proven coatings, it resists wear and heat, offering stable cuts and longer tool life in demanding micro-machining tasks.
With its precise geometry and durable coatings, the Carmex Tiny Tool helps you complete micro-boring tasks faster, delivering consistent bore quality and minimizing tool changes. The combination of small diameter, defined reach, and coating options supports efficient workflows from prototyping to production, making it a dependable choice for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists working in tight tolerances.
