Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for precision boring and small-diameter turning. With a 2.1 mm minimum diameter and a 10 mm reach, it can access tight bores and deep features while delivering dependable, accurate results. The R0.1 nose radius supports fine finishing and controlled cutting in tight workpieces.
This tool is built from high-quality MTR K20 grade carbide and is part of a versatile line that also handles general turning. It offers two coating options to optimize performance for different materials and cutting conditions: BXC TiN-coated grade for low cutting speeds, particularly effective with a wide range of stainless steels; and BMK, a sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating, delivering exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting for broad all-material use.
- Ultra-small bore access: 2.1 mm minimum diameter enables precise boring in tight spaces and small-diameter workpieces, reducing the need for secondary operations.
- 10 mm reach for deep features: Extended reach lets you reach deeper pockets and internal features without repositioning tooling, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Dual PVD coating options: BXC TiN coating enhances wear resistance at low cutting speeds for stainless steels, while BMK’s triple coating provides high heat resistance and smooth cutting across a broad material range.
