Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision in small-diameter bores. With a 2.1 mm minimum diameter, a 15 mm reach, and a precise R0.1 nose, it’s built to handle tight tolerances and demanding turning tasks in a compact form. While designed primarily for boring, it also performs well on general turning jobs.
This tool is offered in two coated grades to suit different materials and speeds: BXC, a PVD TiN coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); and BMK, a sub-micron grade with a advanced PVD triple coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting (ISO K10-K20). General-purpose BMK makes it versatile for a wide range of materials.
- Two advanced coating options for versatile performance: Choose BXC TiN for stainless steels at low speeds, or BMK’s triple PVD coating for broad material compatibility and high heat resistance.
- Ultra-compact bore capability: 2.1 mm minimum diameter with a 15 mm reach and R0.1 nose radius enables precise, stable boring in tight cavities and small turning tasks.
