Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact carbide boring bar designed for precision in small-diameter workpieces. It’s ideal for machinists, engineers, tradespeople, and hobbyists who need clean, accurate bores in tight spaces, delivering dependable performance in demanding applications.
With a 3.1 mm minimum diameter, a 15 mm reach, and a nose radius of R0.05, this tool excels at producing precise bores in confined cavities and can also handle light turning tasks. The carbide family offers two coating options to suit different materials and speeds: BXC TiN for low cutting speeds on stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40) and BMK with a sub-micron grade plus triple PVD coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting across a wide range of materials (ISO K10-K20).
- Tiny-diameter precision for tight bores: 3.1 mm minimum diameter, 15 mm reach, and R0.05 nose radius enable tight tolerances and clean finishes in small parts.
- Coatings engineered for durability across materials: BXC TiN supports low-speed cutting on stainless steels for consistent wear performance; BMK’s triple PVD coating delivers high heat resistance and smoother cutting across a broad material range.
- Rugged carbide design for reliable, versatile performance: Solid carbide construction provides rigidity for boring and can handle light turning, delivering predictable results with reduced downtime.
This Tiny Tool delivers a compact, reliable solution for precision bores in tight spaces, while its dual coating options help you push faster cycles and maintain surface finish across common materials like stainless steels. Built from solid carbide, it offers the durability and stability you need for demanding applications in CNC or manual machining.
