Learn more about Klarna
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring in small-diameter workpieces. Its rigid carbide construction delivers repeatable, chatter-free performance, making it a reliable choice for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists who need accurate bores and clean finishes.
Built for boring applications but versatile enough for general turning, this tool is offered in two coated grades to match material and speed needs: BXC, a PVD TiN coating optimized for low cutting speeds and broad stainless steel compatibility (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); and BMK, a sub-micron grade with a triple PVD coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting (ISO K10-K20). Dimensions: 7.1 mm minimum diameter, 30 mm reach, and R0.2 tip radius.
- Compact bore capability: The 7.1 mm minimum diameter and 30 mm reach let you access tight bores in small parts, reducing the need for multiple tools and setup changes.
- Coated carbide versatility: Choose BXC TiN for dependable performance at low cutting speeds with strong stainless steel compatibility, or BMK with a sub-micron, triple-PVD coating for high heat resistance and smoother cutting across a broad material range.
- Durable, precision-ground geometry: Engineered for long tool life and consistent finishes, with a sharp, stable cutting edge that minimizes chatter and improves surface quality on challenging materials.
With the Carmex Tiny Tool, you gain a reliable, high-precision option for small-diameter boring that reduces downtime and setup complexity. Its robust coatings and solid carbide core deliver consistent results across materials, improving workflow, boosting throughput on tight-tolerance parts, and delivering better surface finish in demanding applications.
