The Carmex Thread Mills Carbide Mini Type is a precision, compact threading tool designed for engineers who need reliable internal and external threads in tight spaces. Built for UNJ forms (UNJC, UNJF, UNJEF, UNJS) with a 1/4" diameter and 28 TPI, it delivers consistent results across materials and applications.
- Diameter x pitch: 1/4" diameter with 28 TPI for small, precise thread milling in confined areas
- Thread forms supported: Works with UNJ family (UNJC, UNJF, UNJEF, UNJS) and can produce both internal and external threads with the same tool
- Shank: MT7 Morse taper shank ensures a rigid, accurate fit on compatible CNC machines
- Coating & carbide grade: Sub-micron MT7 carbide with Titanium Aluminium Nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10–K20) for outstanding wear resistance
- Flute design: Spiral flutes with 3–5 cutting edges for smooth cutting action and efficient chip evacuation
- Coolant delivery: Through-flutes coolant enhances lubrication and cooling, ideal for deep-hole threading
