The Omega ER16 Collet is a coolant-sealed, ultra-precision tool holding solution designed for CNC milling and drilling. It clamps round shank tools in the 3–10 mm range with run-out under 10 microns, delivering consistent accuracy and smoother finishes even at higher cutting speeds. Built for high-pressure coolant systems, it helps keep tools cooler and productive on demanding jobs.

Note: newer versions have no rubber seal on the nose. The collet uses a non-overlapping slot pattern at the center to prevent coolant loss. To maintain an effective seal, use only round shank tooling with no clamping flats; tools with flats can render the seal ineffective.
