The OSG BSW Spiral Point Threading Tap is a high-performance tool designed for through-hole tapping in metalwork. Built for machinists, fabricators, and job shops, it delivers precise, durable British Standard Whitworth threads with efficient chip evacuation.
- Material: HSS‑E (high-speed steel with cobalt) for enhanced wear resistance and heat tolerance.
- Coating: Steam Oxide coating to reduce wear, improve lubricity, and extend tool life in tapping operations.
- Thread Type: BSW (British Standard Whitworth) with spiral point geometry for efficient chip evacuation and straight threading.
- Design: Spiral Point geometry ensures driven chips are expelled forward, enabling smoother, faster through-hole tapping.
- Through Hole: Specifically optimized for through-hole applications, delivering clean internal threads from start to finish.
