Description
The Vortex Hand File is an 8-inch, smooth-cut hand file engineered for shaping, smoothing, and finishing metal surfaces with precision. Designed for machinists, engineers, metalworkers, and serious hobbyists, this versatile tool makes material removal predictable and controllable, helping you achieve clean, consistent edges on a variety of metals.
Whether you’re deburring, sharpening, or fine-tuning fit, the smooth-cut design provides a controlled, even cut that minimizes gouging and leaves a consistent surface ready for finishing.
- 8-inch length for extended reach and precise control: Provides comfortable leverage on larger parts and longer edges, helping you work faster with less hand fatigue.
- Smooth-cut geometry for refined finishes: Delivers a uniform cut across the length of the file, producing smooth surfaces and easier deburring across multiple passes.
- Durable, wear-resistant construction: Built to resist dulling through repeated use, preserving cutting action and reducing the need for frequent replacements.
With the Vortex Hand File, you’ll experience reliable performance across everyday metalworking tasks—from rough shaping to fine finishing. The combination of 8-inch reach, smooth-cut action, and durable construction helps you finish components to spec with confidence, streamline your workflow, and reduce rework.
