Description
ITP Straight Stylus Type A with Ruby Ball is a precision probing accessory designed for metrology and CMM workflows. Its carbon fiber stem offers extreme rigidity with minimal weight, enabling reliable long-reach measurements in tight spaces.
- Overall length: 75 mm total length for extended reach in confined areas
- Thread: M3 XXT thread for secure mounting on standard probe holders
- Stem material: Carbon fiber for high stiffness-to-weight ratio and reduced deflection
- Ruby ball diameter: High-quality ruby ball sizes available from Ø3.0 mm to Ø12.0 mm
- Custom dimensions: Other dimensions can be requested via the configurator or by e-mail
- Model code: TCM305005075
This stylus delivers stable, repeatable contact every time. The lightweight carbon fiber build minimizes dynamic forces during probing, while the ruby ball provides a hard, wear-resistant contact surface that enhances longevity and accuracy. The 75 mm length and M3 XXT threading support versatile setups, including probing recessed features or deep cavities. For applications requiring a specific ball size or non-standard dimensions, you can specify those needs during ordering to optimize performance for your parts and tolerances.
