Description
The ITP Straight Stylus is a precision probing accessory designed to extend Z-axis capability when paired with star styli. It delivers reliable height alignment and a compact form for demanding metrology setups.
- Thread size: M2 thread for secure attachment to compatible holders and star-styli assemblies.
- Overall length: 19 mm, providing a precise, compact probing extension.
- Probe element: Ruby ball available as the probe element for enhanced contact accuracy and wear resistance.
- Design and height alignment: Straight configuration with an extended thread to match the height of the star stylus forconsistent Z-direction probing.
- Intended use: Used to clamp star styli and provide additional probing capability in the Z direction.
This setup enables precise, repeatable measurements in QA and precision engineering environments. The extended thread ensures height compatibility with star styli, while the ruby-ball option improves contact quality and longevity. Its compact 19 mm profile fits into tight probe stations, making it a dependable choice for expanding your probing capabilities without sacrificing accuracy or repeatability.
