Description
The ITP Straight Styli Type A with Ruby Ball offers a precise, straight probing solution for metrology professionals, featuring an M4 threaded interface and a 51 mm overall length. The carbide stem and ruby ball tip deliver reliable, repeatable contact during CMM probing.
- Thread: M4 threaded connection that fits standard probe heads and adapters.
- Overall length: 51 mm from tip to base, providing a compact, versatile reach.
- Stem material: Carbide for exceptional rigidity and long-term durability under probing forces.
- Ball tip: Ruby ball available in diameters from Ø1.0 mm to Ø6.0 mm for different probing tasks.
- Customization: Other ruby ball sizes can be requested via configurator or by email.
With its rigid carbide stem and wear-resistant ruby ball, this stylus minimizes deflection and maintains radii accuracy across measurements. The range of ruby ball sizes lets you tailor contact to tiny features or delicate surfaces, while the standard M4 thread ensures quick swaps on compatible probing systems. Ideal for routine measurement checks, fixture validation, and high-precision part inspection in manufacturing environments.
