Description
The ITP Straight Styli - Type A with a diamond-coated ball is a high-precision probing stylus designed for demanding metrology tasks. It’s ideal for engineers and quality labs that require repeatable, reliable tactile measurements.
- M5 Thread: Compatible with standard stylus holders and probes for straightforward integration.
- Overall Length: 50 mm, offering versatile reach while maintaining rigidity.
- Stem Material: Carbide for exceptional stiffness and measurement accuracy.
- Ball Surface: Diamond-coated silicon carbide ball delivers outstanding wear resistance and a long service life.
- Ball Size Range: Probes available with ball diameters from Ø1.5 mm to Ø10.0 mm; other sizes can be requested via the configurator or by e-mail.
- Geometry: Straight design supports direct contact and repeatable readings across measurement passes.
This stylus combines a rigid carbide stem with a diamond-coated tip to minimize deflection during measurements, ensuring consistent results on hard or abrasive surfaces. The superior wear resistance of the diamond-coated ball reduces replacement frequency, lowering downtime and maintenance costs. It’s particularly well-suited for coordinate measuring machine (CMM) workflows, micro-feature inspection, and applications requiring precise tactile feedback on small or challenging geometries.

- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
