The ITP Straight Styli Type A with a silicon nitride ball is a reliable, everyday-use straight stylus designed for precise CMM probing. Built for M5-threaded setups and a compact 30 mm overall length, it pairs rigid carbide construction with a durable ball for dependable measurements on metal parts.
- Thread: M5 male thread for secure attachment to compatible probes
- Stem material: Extremely rigid carbide shaft to maintain dimensional stability across a wide range of measurements
- Ball material: Silicon nitride ball, recommended for scanning untreated aluminium parts
- Ball size options: Part of a range with ball diameters from Ø1,5 mm to Ø10,0 mm
- Holder compatibility: Suitable for styli with Ø10,0 mm, Ø11,0 mm and Ø12,0 mm holders depending on the measuring system
- Overall length: 30 mm for good accessibility in constrained fixtures
