Description
The ITP Straight Styli Type A is an affordable, reliable probing stylus designed for everyday measurement tasks. It combines a rigid stainless steel stem with a silicon nitride ball to deliver stable, repeatable readings, particularly when scanning untreated aluminium parts.
- Ball Diameter Options: in this configuration, styli with balls from Ø1.0 mm to Ø8.0 mm are available; other sizes can be requested via the configurator or by e-mail.
- Thread: M4 male thread to fit standard probing heads and stylus holders.
- Stem Material: stainless steel for high rigidity, with a slightly higher weight that helps dampen vibrations during probing.
- Ball Material: silicon nitride for wear resistance and smooth contact with metal surfaces, especially untreated aluminium.
- Overall Length: 20 mm, providing a compact, maneuverable probing profile.
The combination of a robust stem and a silicon nitride ball offers a practical balance of durability and precision for routine QC tasks, calibration checks, and everyday scanning. The silicon nitride ball minimizes wear on both the stylus and the workpiece, supporting longer service life and consistent results across multiple measurements. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
