The holder and stem are made of hardened, stainless steel and provide very high rigidity at a slightly higher weight. The silicon nitride balls are particularly recommended for scanning parts made of untreated aluminium. In this combination, styli with balls from Ø5,0mm to Ø8,0mm are available. Other sizes can be requested via the configurator or by e-mail.
