Description
The ITP Straight Stylus Type A with Ruby Ball is a precision probing accessory designed for everyday measurement tasks. It pairs a lightweight, rigid ceramic stem with a high-quality ruby ball to deliver consistent, repeatable contact in tight spaces.
- Thread: M4 male thread for straightforward mounting on compatible probes and fixtures.
- Overall Length: 53 mm, compact profile suited for restricted measurement areas.
- Stem Material: High-performance ceramic for low weight and exceptional rigidity, minimizing deflection during probing.
- Ruby Ball Diameter: Available with ruby balls from Ø4.0 mm to Ø8.0 mm for precise contact and durable wear resistance.
- Custom Sizing: Other sizes can be requested via the configurator or by e-mail.
The combination of a lightweight ceramic stem and a hard ruby ball helps reduce measurement variability and extends tip life in demanding environments. This straight stylus is ideal for routine probing, calibration workflows, and alignment tasks where a stable, repeatable contact point matters. With configurable ruby ball sizes, you can tailor the stylus to your specific probing geometry and surface characteristics for consistent results across sessions.
