Description
The ITP Cylinder Styli with a stainless steel stem are precision cylindrical probes designed for measurements where a traditional ball probe can’t reach the intended point. They excel at locating endpoints and fine features on metal sheets during scanning and QA checks. For best results, position the probe axis as perpendicular as possible to the workpiece axis.
- Material: Stainless steel stem for durability, stiffness, and corrosion resistance in demanding inspection tasks.
- Thread: M2 threading to fit securely onto standard probe heads.
- Measuring length: 7 mm length optimized to reach recessed or hard-to-access features without sacrificing rigidity.
- Probe geometry: Cylindrical profile provides stable contact when a ball probe cannot reach or would introduce measurement error.
- End-geometry versatility: For cylindrical probes with rounded ends, end-face probing or probing across the entire ball area is possible, expanding measurement options.
