Double Cut Carbide Burrs

Double cut carbide burrs, also called cross cut or diamond cut. A second set of flutes is crossed over the first, which breaks the chip into small pieces instead of long strings. That stops the burr grabbing and snatching in a hand-held die grinder, gives you far more control, and leaves a finish that usually needs no further work.

Double cut is the default choice for hand deburring on steel and stainless, and the one to buy if you are not sure which you need. Stocked in every shape except Type J and Type K countersinks, from 3mm to 16mm head diameter on 3mm and 6mm shanks.
