Description
The Carmex DMTH thread mill provides machinists with a dependable solution for creating precise UN threads in hardened steels, stainless steel, and high-performance alloys. Its hard-type construction supports consistent results where standard tools often fall short.
- Thread Profile: Designed specifically for UN series threads including UNC, UNF, UNEF, and UNS, with a nominal size of 1/2 x 13.
- Cutting Reach: Capable of thread depths up to twice the thread diameter for deeper internal or external profiles in a single pass.
- Flute Design: Equipped with 3 to 4 flutes that improve chip evacuation and maintain cutting stability during prolonged operations.
- Tool Geometry: Features a solid carbide body with specialized coating visible on the cutting head, paired with an MT11 shank for secure machine mounting.
This tool reduces tool changes and breakage when threading tough materials, helping shops maintain accuracy and extend tool life across demanding production runs. It fits naturally into CNC setups where versatility and reliability matter most.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
