Description
The Dormer Pramet A520 4.80 mm HSS TiN ADX Straight Shank Stub Drill (DIN 1897) is a precision drilling tool built for reliable starts and clean holes in a range of metals. With a 4.80 mm diameter, straight shank, and ADX design, it fits standard chucks and compact setups while delivering steady performance across steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. The premium HSS core, plus a Titanium Nitride coating, is engineered for longer tool life and consistent results at higher speeds.
- 130° thinned point for self-centering: The optimized point geometry helps holes start true with less push force, improving alignment and reducing operator effort.
- Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating for longer life: TiN extends tool life and enhances performance when drilling harder materials, reducing downtime and replacement frequency.
- Convex cutting edges for efficient chip control: Convex edges break and evacuate chips more effectively, enabling higher cutting speeds and feeds with reliable hole quality.
This high-performance drill is designed to deliver accurate, repeatable results with minimal downtime.
