The Carmex Polygon Swiss Line Insert for Grooving & Turning is a left-hand, indexable cutting tool designed for Swiss-type machines and automatic lathes. Built for high-volume production, it enables efficient external grooving, back and front turning, profiling, thread turning, parting, and general turning with repeatable results.
With grounded cutting edges and a durable, coated holder, this insert delivers reliable performance in demanding turning environments while enabling quick on-machine indexing for fast tool changes and minimal downtime.
- Grounded cutting edges: Consistent, clean cuts with reduced edge chipping and longer edge life, helping you maintain tight tolerances and better surface finish.
- On-machine indexing: Rotate to a fresh edge directly on the Swiss machine—no tool removal or rework, reducing setup time and maximizing uptime.
- Abrasion-resistant coated holders: Coatings protect the holder from heat and wear, preserving accuracy and extending tool life in high-speed turning and heavy-duty grooving.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
