Description
Widin Live Centre is a heavy-duty, nut-type live center built for demanding lathe work. Carbide-tipped and NKCN type, it seals against cutting oils and contaminants to keep the center clean and accurate, and it’s available with Morse Tapers No. 3 or No. 6 to fit a wide range of machines.
- Carbide-tipped for extended life: The carbide tip delivers superior wear resistance under heavy turning loads, providing consistent support and reducing tool changes during long runs.
- Sealed NKCN nut-type design: A robust seal keeps cutting oils and debris out of the working interface, preserving accuracy and simplifying maintenance in tough shop environments.
- Ultra-precise spindle with taper-roller bearings: A hard shaft (58–62 HRC) paired with proven taper-roller bearings delivers exceptionally low runout (0.00012" or 0.003 mm), ensuring stable, repeatable performance on demanding jobs.
This live center helps maintain concentricity, improve surface finish, and reduce downtime across extended machining cycles. Built for reliability in production settings, it offers predictable, consistent performance you can rely on for challenging turning operations and heavy-duty applications.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
