Description
The Widin Live Centre No.5 (NCPBCN Type) is a heavy lathe live center designed for demanding turning tasks. Carbide tipped to minimize bite interference, it provides steady support and helps improve surface finish even under high-load cutting. Built for professionals, shops, and serious hobbyists, this unit delivers reliable performance where precision matters most.
Morse Tapers No. 3 and No. 6 are supported, and the center is sealed to prevent the inflow of cutting oils and foreign substances. Upgraded bearings arranged in a triplex configuration offer improved durability and longer life compared with NC TYPE H, while the shaft is heat-treated to 58–62 HRC for superior rigidity. With a runout of 0.00012" (0.003 mm), you get consistently accurate centering across the full range of turning operations.
