Description
The Widin Live Centre is a Nut Type NC Standard Lathe live center, engineered for reliable support of rotating workpieces. It is available with Morse Tapers No. 3 or No. 6 and is sealed to prevent the inflow of cutting oils and foreign substances, delivering high rotational accuracy and long service life in demanding turning tasks.
- Triplex bearing precision and ultra-low runout: The triplex-bearing arrangement delivers exceptional rotational accuracy with runout as low as 0.00012 inches (0.003 mm), ensuring consistent concentricity during high-speed turning.
- Oil- and contaminant-sealed construction: Sealed to protect internal components from cutting oils and foreign substances, reducing wear and helping maintain precision between maintenance intervals.
- Hardened shaft with flexible Morse-taper mounting: Shaft hardened to 58–62 HRC for wear resistance and stability under load, available with No. 3 or No. 6 Morse taps for broad lathe compatibility.
This combination provides dependable, repeatable centering that supports tight tolerances and smooth finishes, reduces rework, and minimizes downtime between setups—helping your shop achieve faster, more predictable results with every turning operation.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
