Description
The Widin Live Centre is a full carbide-tipped dead center designed for precise turning. This LM-A Type center provides stable support for long runs and clean finishes across a range of materials. Available in Morse taper No.1 and No.7, it delivers exceptionally tight runout for reliable accuracy from start to finish. Runout specs are as low as 0.00012" (No.1) and 0.0002" (No.7), or 0.003 mm / 0.005 mm, helping you maintain consistent tolerances.
- Carbide-tipped for extended life: The full carbide tip resists wear, preserving tip geometry and delivering longer service life with fewer rework cycles on hard or abrasive materials.
- Ultra-low runout for consistent accuracy: Tight runout improves part concentricity and finish quality, reducing chatter and ensuring repeatable results across multiple parts.
- Morse taper compatibility (No.1 & No.7) with LM‑A design: Fits standard lathe tailstocks securely and quickly, providing reliable seating and straightforward changeovers without compromising alignment.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
