Description
The Widin Live Centre is a half-tipped dead center designed for turning centers. In the LM-HN Type, No.2 configuration, it delivers stable support for workpieces with minimized contact bite. Built for machinists, shop technicians, and hobbyists, it helps you achieve accurate, repeatable results during turning, facing, and other lathe operations.
Morse tapers No.1 and No.7 are available, offering flexible mounting for a wide range of lathes. The precision geometry and tight tolerances help reduce setup time and boost confidence in every operation.
- Half-Tipped Geometry to Minimize Bite Interference: The half-tipped design reduces bite when the workpiece contacts the center, promoting steadier starts and smoother finishes even on longer runs.
- Ultra-Low Runout for True Centering: Runout is specified at 0.00012" (0.003 mm) to 0.0002" (0.005 mm), delivering consistently true alignment and improved dimensional accuracy.
- Morse Taper Compatibility (Nos. 1 and 7) with LM-HN Type No. 2: Ready for standard Morse-taper spindles, enabling quick installation and secure engagement across a range of lathes without sacrificing rigidity.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
