Widin Live Centre - Half Tipped Dead Centre (LM-HN Type, No.5) is a precision center designed for turning operations. The half-tipped design minimizes bite interference to keep the workpiece centered and rotates with stable accuracy.
Available with Morse Tapers No.1 through No.7, this centre delivers exceptionally low runout: 0.00012 inches to 0.0002 inches (0.003–0.005 mm). This combination provides broad compatibility across machines while maintaining true rotation for clean cuts and consistent results.
- Half-Tipped Dead Centre design reduces bite interference: The half-tipped geometry minimizes contact at the tip, helping maintain precise centering during cuts and reducing chatter.
- Ultra-low runout for true rotation: Runout as tight as 0.00012"–0.0002" (0.003–0.005 mm) keeps the workpiece truly centered, delivering smoother feeds and improved surface finish.
- Versatile Morse taper compatibility (No. 1–No. 7): Fits a wide range of lathes and toolholders without adapters, enabling quick setup and secure mounting on your machines.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
