The Widin Live Centre is a precision carbide-tipped half-tipped dead center designed for lathes that demand consistent, low-friction support during turning. Engineered for reliable performance across a range of workpieces, it helps you achieve cleaner finishes and tighter tolerances with less effort.
Configured as LM-HC Type No. 3, it is available with Morse tapers No. 1 through No. 7, offering broad machine compatibility. The carbide tip delivers long life under demanding cuts, while the half-tip contact minimizes bite interference to reduce heat and chatter.
- Ultra-low runout for precise turning: Achieves runout as low as 0.00012" to 0.0002" (0.003 mm to 0.005 mm), delivering true rotation and consistent concentricity that reduce finishing passes and part rejection.
- Carbide-tipped durability: Carbide contact withstands hard and abrasive materials, providing longer center life and less frequent regrinding or replacement.
- Half-tipped design with broad Morse-taper compatibility: The half-tipped contact minimizes bite interference and chatter, helping you achieve cleaner finishes, while supporting Morse taps No. 1–No. 7 for versatile machine compatibility (No. 3 LM-HC configuration).

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
