Description
The Widin Live Centre is a half-tipped dead center with a carbide-tipped point, built as an LM-HCN Type No.4. It’s designed for high-precision turning and dependable workholding, with Morse tapers available from No.1 through No.7 to fit a wide range of machines.
Its half-tipped design minimizes bite interference to keep contact smooth and consistent, while the carbide-tipped tip delivers durable wear resistance for longer service life. The center achieves exceptionally tight runout—0.00012" to 0.0002" (0.003–0.005 mm)—to help you maintain tight tolerances and a clean finish under demanding turning conditions.
