Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool for Face Grooving (MFR - TNX Grade) is a precision solid carbide bar engineered specifically to create straight, clean grooves on the face of a part. With an 8 mm minimum diameter and a 1.5 mm groove width, it delivers consistent groove geometry that supports reliable seating and smooth downstream finishing. This tool is well-suited for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists working on precision grooving across a wide range of materials.
Two premium coating grades are available to optimize performance across materials and speeds. The BXC TiN-coated grade excels at low cutting speeds and is well-suited for stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40), delivering dependable results. The BMK sub-micron grade uses an advanced triple PVD coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting, offering strong general-purpose capability across materials.
