Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Boring Bar (MTL - K20 Grade) is a compact, solid carbide bar engineered for precise bore work on turning centers. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 22 mm reach, and a left-hand R0.1 edge, it delivers reliable control for tight bore applications and finishing passes.
Although designed primarily for boring, this tool is versatile enough for general turning tasks as well. Built to K20 grade standards, it benefits from an advanced BMK coating—sub-micron grade with PVD triple coating—that provides extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting across a wide range of materials, including stainless steels.
- 6.1 mm minimum diameter for tight bore work: Enables precise hole control in small-diameter bores and close-tolerance finishing, reducing error and rework.
- BMK PVD triple-coated carbide for heat resistance: Sub-micron grade with advanced coating delivers excellent wear resistance and smooth cutting, extending tool life in demanding materials and cutting conditions.
- 22 mm reach with left-hand geometry: Provides access to deeper bore sections and supports left-hand cutting setups for efficient material removal and consistent surface finishes.
