Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool – Boring Bar, MTL, is a compact solid carbide bar designed for precision in tight bores and general turning tasks. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 22 mm reach, and a left-hand cutting geometry featuring an R0.2 nose radius, it delivers stable, clean cuts in small holes while maintaining strong rigidity for dependable performance.
This tool family offers flexible coating options to match your material and speed needs. The BXC option uses a PVD TiN coating optimized for low cutting speeds and works well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). Alternatively, the BMK option provides a sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting, suitable as a general-purpose choice for all materials.
