Description

Meet the Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Boring Bar (MTL, K20 Grade). This solid carbide tool is built for precise boring and versatile turning, delivering consistent dimensions in tight pockets. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 30 mm reach, and left-hand geometry, it excels in restricted spaces and deep bores.

  • Coating options for versatile material compatibility: BXC uses a PVD TiN coating optimized for low cutting speeds and stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40), while BMK offers a sub-micron grade with triple PVD coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting, enabling reliable performance across a broad material range.
  • Precisely sized, left-hand geometry: 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 30 mm reach, and left-hand orientation provide accurate bore control, easy alignment, and improved chip flow in tight pockets and deep bores.
  • Rugged carbide construction for long tool life: Solid carbide construction delivers stiffness and wear resistance, with durable coatings that minimize wear and heat buildup to extend tool life and reduce downtime.

This combination of size, coating versatility, and durable construction helps you complete bore work and turning tasks faster, with fewer tool changes and more consistent results. The Carmex Tiny Tool is designed to perform reliably under demanding shop conditions—from stainless steel to general-purpose turning—so you can rely on precise bore diameters, smooth finishes, and repeatable performance across jobs.
