Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for precision in small bores and tight features, with a left-hand cutting geometry. It features a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 35 mm reach, and a 0.2 mm nose radius to deliver clean, accurate cuts in confined spaces. While optimized for boring, it also handles general turning tasks, making it a versatile choice for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists working on tight-diameter components.
For material flexibility and performance, this tool line offers two PVD-coated grades. BXC is a TiN-coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with an advanced triple PVD coating, delivering high heat resistance and smooth cutting (ISO K10-K20). These coatings provide dependable performance across a broad set of materials and applications.
