The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precise small-diameter work. This tool family is built for reliability at the micro scale, making it perfect for detailed finishing passes and tight-tolerance components.
This MTR tool features a 4.1 mm minimum diameter, a 15 mm reach, and a nose radius of R0.05, enabling accurate bore geometry in confined areas. It is available in two coating grades to suit your cutting needs: BXC, a PVD TiN-coated option optimized for low cutting speeds and compatible with stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); and BMK, a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating, delivering excellent heat resistance and smooth cutting across a wide material range (ISO K10-K20). Both coatings are designed to maximize tool life and consistent performance.
