The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precision boring in tight spaces. Its small form factor—4.1 mm minimum diameter with a 30 mm reach and a precise R0.2 nose radius—lets you access short overhangs and small-diameter bores with stability and consistent results. While optimized for boring, this tool also handles general turning tasks, making it a versatile addition to any small-diameter machining workflow.
Choose from two coating options to suit your material and cutting conditions. BXC is a PVD TiN-coated grade that delivers reliable performance at lower cutting speeds, particularly effective with stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating (ISO K10-K20) offering extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting for a broad range of materials—making it a solid general-purpose choice.
