Description

The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for tight-diameter bores and precise turning. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 35 mm reach, and a 0.2 mm nose radius, it delivers accurate, repeatable hole sizes even in constrained workpieces. While optimized for boring, it also handles general turning tasks on a range of materials, including stainless steels.

This tool is part of a coated carbide family, offering two grades to match your cutting needs. BXC is a PVD TiN-coated grade designed for lower cutting speeds, while BMK is a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating for excellent heat resistance and smooth cutting. These coatings help maximize tool life and maintain consistent performance across a variety of materials.

  • Compact diameter and extended reach: 6.1 mm minimum diameter with a 35 mm reach lets you access tight bores and pockets without compromising rigidity or accuracy.
  • R0.2 nose radius for clean, precise cuts: The small 0.2 mm radius supports smooth cutting and fine surface finish on stainless steels and other alloys.
  • Coated carbide grades for versatile durability: Choose BXC TiN-coated for low-speed cuts or BMK triple-coated for high heat resistance and reliably smooth cutting across materials.

With Carmex Tiny Tool, you gain repeatable hole quality, reduced downtime from longer tool life, and a compact solution that fits into tight setups. Its precise geometry and durable coatings help improve workflow, offer dependable results in demanding jobs, and give you confidence in every bore and turning pass.
