Description
Solid carbide thread mill for G1/8 BSP threads at 28 TPI, internal or external. Mini Mill-Thread tools are for small threads, starting at M1 x 0.25 and 0-80. The short cutting profile keeps cutting forces low, and there’s no risk of a broken tap left in a finished part.
Carmex lists it as the same tool for internal and external threads, so one cutter does both. MT7 is Carmex’s general-purpose grade: sub-micron carbide with a TiAlN multi-layer coating, meant to run at medium to high cutting speeds across all materials. Carmex rates this tool for material up to 45 HRc.
