Carmex's MTSB Mini Mill-Thread through coolant tool is a compact, solid carbide cutter designed for precision ISO metric threads like M5 x 0.8. Built for tight spaces and demanding production, it delivers clean, repeatable threads with efficient through-coolant delivery.
- Type: Mini Mill-Thread with internal coolant bore (through coolant) for high-pressure coolant delivery through the flute into the pre-hole.
- Thread size: ISO metric M5 x 0.8.
- Shank/MT: MT7 compatible for secure tooling setups.
- Material: Solid carbide for rigidity, wear resistance, and long tool life.
- Coolant system: Internal coolant bore that provides high-pressure coolant through the tool to wash chips away during threading and to cool the cutting edge.
- Application focus: Optimized for small, deep threads and use in environments where through-coolant through the flutes enhances chip evacuation and surface finish.
The through-coolant capability reduces heat at the cutting edge and improves chip removal, enabling steadier feeds and depths in challenging holes. By flushing chips out through the threading circle, it minimizes chip packing in narrow cavities and supports more consistent thread quality across production runs.
