Description
Engineered for through-hole threading, the Carmex MTZ carbide thread mills deliver coolant directly through the flutes to the cutting edge, delivering smooth, controlled cuts and longer tool life. Designed for machines that may not have external coolant, these tools excel at precise threading in through-holes with a range of Unified Thread Standard profiles.
- Through Coolant via Flutes: Direct cooling and coolant delivery through the flute channels improve heat management and chip evacuation during threading.
- Carbide Construction: High-hardness carbide substrate provides long tool life and stable geometry for consistent thread quality.
- MT7 Shank: Morse Taper 7 shank for secure, rigid mounting on compatible CNC spindle systems.
- Thread Forms Supported: Compatible with UNC, UNF, UNEF, and UNS thread profiles to cover a wide range of applications.
- Through-Hole Thread Milling: Optimized geometry for threading inside holes with direct chip removal and reduced cutting forces.
- Size: 7/16 x 14 thread milling option, suitable for common through-hole fastener standards.
