Description
Designed for precision threading through holes, the Carmex MTZ carbide thread mill delivers coolant directly through the flutes to keep the cutting edge cool and chips flowing away from the cut. Built for machines without external coolant lines, it reliably forms UNC, UNF, UNEF, and UNS threads in a 5/8"-11 size with an MT7 shank.
- Through-Coolant Flutes: Coolant is guided directly to the cutting edge through the flute channels, enhancing cooling and chip evacuation.
- Carbide Construction: Hard, wear-resistant carbide substrate for stable threading performance across a range of materials.
- Threading Size: 5/8" diameter with 11 threads per inch (5/8"-11) compatible with UNC, UNF, UNEF, and UNS thread forms.
- Shank: MT7 shank delivers rigid, dependable drive on a broad set of CNC machines.
- Direct Chip Removal: Through-hole threading design enables efficient chip evacuation and reduces clogging and chatter.
