The Omega Products ER11 Collet Coolant Sealed Ultra Precision is a high-performance toolholding solution designed for demanding milling applications. Optimized for 5 mm round shank tooling, it delivers exceptionally tight run-out and reliable coolant delivery, helping you achieve precise finishes consistently.
Built to work under high-pressure coolant, this collet features an integral metal seal that directs coolant exactly where it’s needed while minimizing leaks and drift. Its robust design supports coolant pressures up to 120 bar, improving chip removal and extending tool life in tough materials and long production runs.
- Ultra-precise run-out: Less than 10 μm run-out for accurate tool engagement, tighter tolerances, and improved surface finish across complex parts.
- High-pressure coolant seal up to 120 bar: An integral metal seal ensures efficient coolant delivery at the cutting edge, enhancing cooling and reducing heat-related wear.
- Seal integrity and round-shank compatibility: Longitudinal slots do not overlap at the center to prevent coolant loss; newer versions have a rubber-seal-free nose for durability; for best results, use only round-shank tooling with no clamping flats, as flats will render the seal ineffective.
This collet is engineered to keep your workflow smooth—delivering repeatable holds, reliable cooling, and consistent results from setup to setup. With a 3–7 mm clamping range, it covers a broad set of 5 mm round shank tools, making it a versatile choice for production runs, prototyping, and workshop projects where precision and reliability matter.
