The Truthread Plug Gauge (D/E) - UNF - Right Hand - 2B - No. 6x40 is a compact, precision tool designed to verify the internal threads inside holes. It is built to cover common Unified thread standards—UNC, UNF, and UNEF—making it ideal for machinists, quality inspectors, engineers, and hobbyists who need fast, reliable thread checks. Use it to confirm that drilled or threaded holes mate correctly with fasteners and to support consistent part quality across production runs.
A tapered probing end paired with an ergonomic handle lets you insert the gauge smoothly into threaded holes, delivering quick, trustworthy readings with minimal chance of cross-threading or damage. The No. 6x40 designation and 2B tolerance provide a precise, repeatable measurement reference that fits neatly into tool carts, inspection benches, and calibration workflows.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
