The Truthread Plug Thread Gauge is a precision tool designed to verify internal threads in tapped holes. It covers UNC, UNF, and UNEF thread standards, making it a versatile choice for engineers, quality teams, tradespeople, and hobbyists who need reliable thread checks in a single, easy-to-use instrument.
This right‑hand gauge features a tapered tip and a built‑in handle for smooth insertion into threaded holes, enabling quick, repeatable assessments of thread fit. Crafted for high accuracy with tight tolerances, it helps you confirm that your holes meet the intended UNC/UNF/UNEF specifications, including 1/4×20 UNC sizes.
- UNC/UNF/UNEF compatibility: Conforms to Unified National Coarse, Fine, and Extra Fine thread standards, allowing fast, accurate checks across the most common internal thread types (including 1/4×20 UNC).
- Right-hand, 2B tolerance for repeatable results: Precise 2B tolerance with right‑hand threading delivers consistent measurements, reducing guesswork in QA and maintenance workflows.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
