Description
Carmex Small Indexable Carbide Threading Insert is a full-profile tool designed specifically for producing internal threads. It supports ISO and UN profiles, making it a versatile choice for precise internal threading tasks.
- Internal threading only: Inserts are designed exclusively for machining internal threads.
- Threading profiles: Available for ISO and UN thread profiles to match standard forms.
- Pitch range: Solutions available for pitches from 0.5 mm (32 TPI) to 3.0 mm (8 TPI).
- Minimum bore diameter: Suitable for bores with a minimum diameter of 8.0 mm (0.31 inch).
- Thread size: Target thread size M14 x 1.5.
- Coating and grade: Carbide Grade BLU PVD triple-layer coating with sub-micron quality for enhanced wear resistance across stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10–M20, K05–K20, N10–N20, S10–S20).
This insert pairings a robust carbide core with a durable BLU PVD coating to deliver reliable life in challenging materials while maintaining tight tolerances on internal threads. The wide pitch coverage and compatibility with ISO/UN profiles help streamline setups across multiple parts, reducing tool changes and improving cycle efficiency in production environments.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
