Description
The Widin Carbide End Mill is a precision cutting tool designed for machining high-hardened materials up to HRc70. It combines a long-neck design with a 4-flute square-edge geometry to deliver reliable cuts in challenging workpieces. With a 3 mm diameter and 35 mm overall length, it provides extended reach for features with draft angles while maintaining rigidity and accuracy.
The tool benefits from a newly developed raw material and advanced coating that enable dry cutting and high-speed cutting, delivering improved heat resistance and wear resistance. The ZSLNS20 construction is engineered to provide excellent workpiece finishes, making it a dependable choice for demanding materials and precision work.
- Long-Neck Reach for Draft Angles: The long-neck design accommodates longer interference length required for different draft angles, keeping clearance and enabling full-depth cuts without interference.
- 4-Flute Square-Edge Geometry for Clean, Precise Finishes: Four-flute, square-edge design provides stable cutting, efficient chip evacuation, and tight corner accuracy for high-quality surface finishes on hard materials.
- Dry and High-Speed Cutting with Advanced Coating: A newly developed raw material and coating enable dry cutting and high-speed operation, delivering improved heat and wear resistance for longer tool life and consistent performance.
