To remove the tang of thread inserts, follow these steps for a clean and efficient process. For inserts starting from M13 and up, employ Long Nose Pliers to carefully extract the tang. Alternatively, you can press the tang break tool through the insert, causing the tang to break cleanly at the predetermined breaking point. These methods ensure the seamless removal of the tang, leaving you with a securely installed thread insert ready for use.

We are open Monday to Friday and able to dispatch orders between 8am and 5pm (up to 4.30 pm on Fridays).
What delivery services do we offer?
To mainland UK we offer FREE UK next day delivery on all orders above £50 ex vat*. For orders under £50 ex vat we offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £4.50
- DPD Standard Next Day - £7.50
- DPD Next Day Pre 12 - £12.50
- Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm - £12.50
- DPD Next Day Pre 10am - £20
We also offer Saturday delivery for those that require it, if you order before 4.30 pm on a Friday.
